Liam began working on ecofarm in 2016 with Richard Rafferty (uncle) and Jane Eden (uncle’s business partner). He has been immersed in the Massachusetts cannabis market since that time; regulations, licensing, banking, finance, etc. He, Richard, and Jane founded ecofarm in 2018, obtaining the first Provisional License by a general applicant in the state.
Liam began his career as an Investment Analyst for JP Morgan Securities in Boston, where he held his Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 Securities Licenses (not currently active). He left in 2016 to work at Bain Capital as a Senior Associate on the Corporate team, focusing on the private equity and credit business units.
Liam left Bain in January 2019 to go full time on this project.
He graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2014 with a BS in Marketing and received his MS in Accounting with a concentration in Forensic Accounting and Financial Analysis, while working at Bain, from Southern New Hampshire University in 2017.
